Short-CV: Dr. Shih-Hsiung Liu

Dr. Shih-Hsiung Liu is a Professor at National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan. He earned his Ph. D in integrating technology into instruction from National Ping-Tung University of Education in Taiwan in 2005. Prior to working at university, he had been a primary school teacher for 17 years.

He specializes in the field regarding pre-service and in-service teacher education, especially with technology integration. He has published many articles in a number of professional journals, including Computer & Education, Computers in Human Behavior, Educational Technology & Society, Technology Pedagogy & Education, and some rigorously reviewed journals. He has also published several books referred to educational practicum, teaching practice research, and teacher collaboration in instruction.

He is currently interested in the field of teacher collaboration as well as technology application. Additionally, he has often been invited by many Taiwanese schools to mentor in-service teachers in professional development. He is familiar with school-based teacher professional development.
